The staff at our Houston dental office is dedicated to optimal patient dental health. Everyone here works extremely hard to ensure the highest level of care for every patient who walks through our doors. Our Philosophy
Our commitment to continuing education and our proactive stance on preventative dentistry forms the backbone of all service and care options in our practice. It is our belief that the ongoing pursuit of the latest dental sciences, combined with an aggressive health and hygiene program, are the keys to dental health and beauty.
New Patient Policy and Procedures
New patients show up in our Houston dental office daily. We always recommend that they begin their relationship with our care professionals with a comprehensive dental examination. This examination normally consists of the following:
· Medical history and dental history review
· Radiography examination
· Visual examination
· Photographic series
· Oral cancer screening
· Periodontal exam
After your examination is complete, our dentists then take the time to share their findings with patients and go over any treatment options that may be necessary. The cosmetic dentists at our Houston Dental Office do more than cosmetic dentistry. They also practice all forms of general dentistry. Most insurance plans cover the majority of our services. However, some of the more advanced cosmetic procedures may not be covered under the typical corporate dental benefits plan. In such cases, we have a number of financial services plans that allow a person to work out payment options without having to depend on insurance.
Office Hours and Appointment Policy
Our Houston dental office is open every Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7 AM and 4 PM. We have an answering service that will page one of our dentists in the event of a dental emergency and arrange for a callback ASAP.
We ask that new patients treat an appointment with the same high respect with which our professionals regard it. We know how busy Houston work schedules can be, but we also know that all of our patients, in addition to all of our dental office staff, are also very busy as well. We respectfully ask that patients give us the courtesy of a 24-hour notice should they need to reschedule or cancel their appointment. Last minute changes, or even worse, no call no shows, affects everyone on the calendar, including other patients.
Dental Fees
The general and cosmetic dental services offered at our Houston dental office represent the highest level of dental care, applied technology, and new science. Time, treatment option, ability, education, and professional experience all factor into the determination of our fees. Some services are more affordable than others. However, it is our policy to never surprise a patient with fees after the fact. We explain all treatment options up front, quote exactly how much they will cost, and explain why. This allows our patients to make better informed decisions about which options are best for them at what times. It also serves as a guideline for obtaining certain dental financial services throughout many assistance programs.
Cosmetic Dentistry is a specialized field that requires extensive knowledge and experience to be done correctly. The Medical Center Dental Group in Houston, Texas brings all of that and more to the direct benefit of each and every patient we treat. Although we are located in the world famous Houston Medical Center at Scurlock Towers, we routinely see dental patients who travel from Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Beaumont and Midland Texas to see Dr. Dale Brant, Dr. Charles Campbell or Dr. Elizabeth O’Sullivan-Winslow for their cosmetic denistry services.
